Our family was extremely happy with our experience at GKP! The teachers provide genuine care and make it a fun place for kids to learn and play! My son is in elementary school now and still talks about how much fun he had there.
We are sadly leaving this wonderful preschool due to moving to another city. During our time here, our daughter adapted quickly even though she didn’t know English; this was all thanks to the amazing support from the whole team, especially Ms. Corley and Ms. Misaki. The teachers not only helped her learn the language but also made her love the preschool. All the teachers are very cheerful, genuinely caring, and encourage children to explore freely. They make learning fun and help children enjoy their educational journey. Our director, Ms. Tessa, is also extremely kind, positive, and always supportive. We especially want to thank Ms. Corley and Ms. Misaki for all their efforts and for the wonderful impact they had on our daughter. We highly recommend this preschool, its teachers, and its warm environment to everyone, and we hope our next preschool experience will be with equally amazing educators!
Staff had poor communication. Wasn’t reaching out to the grant people and kicked my daughter out of the school. Was very excited for her journey at this school but the money was just to important than my child having a place to be cared for. I was waiting on an approval or denial and they only reached out to me not CCS and filled her spot before the due date was final they waited till last day to give me an approval and my daughters spot was replaced two weeks before the final date SO EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND PUT ME IN A HORRIBLE SPOT NEARLY LOST MU JOB
The owner Tessa has built a special community of teachers and families that we are very happy to be a part of! This school has a warm, homegrown vibe that I think is very rare in this area. Many of the teachers have been there a long time, and there are plenty of opportunities for families to meet each other at school events etc. My son has been in 3 different classrooms over the past few years and he’s always been excited to go to school. I love the brightwheel app where they share updates and cute photos throughout the day. There are also lots of special activities (gym, music, art, yoga etc) where outside instructors come in and these are included for all the students at no additional cost. I would not hesitate to recommend GKP to anyone looking for a great daycare/preschool for their kiddo!
Starting daycare for the first time at 20 months, I was concerned my daughter would have trouble adjusting, but the GKP teachers and staff have made her feel comfortable and loved very quickly! I appreciate the transparent policies and pricing, the cozy classrooms, fun outdoor play area, and how kind everyone is to my daughter. Thank you Ms. Tessa and the whole GKP team!
